Website
We should really get moving on our website. Lets decide on which standards we want and go from there. Let me know what you are thinking. I was thinking maybe first or second grade would be good, maybe even third grade?

Lesson Plan #2 and Storyboard
I was thinking that for my Lesson Plan 2, I would have the students in a group plant a vegetable and then discuss what they think will happen to it and then watch it for a couple of days. To make it a little more interesting I thought we might plant one and put it outside and plant one and put inside away from the sun. This way they can collect data and see what happens. Let me know what you were thinking about doing and I could change mine.
Also, what did you have in mind for the Storyboard. What is our "Big Project" that they are working towards and what tools and resources will we need?

We decided that we would use this map to explain to our students the different climates that different areas of the United States have. We would show the students that in less than a day, the climate, the types of plants that can live there, and what time of year that plants can grow changes drastically. With the map we can work with the students to understand climate change and how it affects the vegetables that we are trying to grow.

Virtual PenPals
Hello group, I was thinking that we could have our class compare and contrast the vegetables in their area with the vegetables in the area of other students. I was thinking that maybe we could do somewhere where there aren't seasons or somewhere where it is either always cold or always hot. My thoughts were Antarctica or Africa. Let me know what you think and we can narrow down the results to pick a place.

Website Evaluations
I was thinking that we should try and find some informative websites as well as some interactive websites if we could. Let me know what websites you are evaluating and I will do the same. I wrote up a few evaluations on the following websites:

I hope you like what I chose and if they help you out with your lesson planning you are certainly welcome to use them.

Lesson Plan
Hey group! For my lesson I am going to have my students create their own little garden in a paper towel tube, and teach them the plant life cycle! Good luck with your lessons :)

Big Idea!
Hi, I was wondering what you guys were thinking about for the big idea. The concept map is due this weekend, so I was just curious about what you thought was a good idea. I think planting a flower or vegetable garden would be a good big project. Just let me know. Thanks
